Ingredients

  • 100 g frozen strawberries
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON Lemon juice
  • 1 TABLESPOON Campari (Italian bitter aperitif)
  • 100 ml chilled prosecco

Directions

    Defrost the strawberries. Bring the sugar and 60 ml water to the boil over medium heat, stirring continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let simmer for about 1 minute (do not stir) and let the sugar syrup cool down. Puree strawberries and lemon juice with the cutting stick of the hand mixer. Stir in Campari and sugar syrup.

    Put the sorbet into a small metal bowl and freeze for 4-5 hours. Stir well every 30-45 minutes with a whisk. At the end of the freezing time, shape the sorbet into a ball with a teaspoon and place in a chilled champagne glass. Then pour the cooled Prosecco and serve immediately
