Steamed apple rings with raspberry quark

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 small apples (e.g. Braeburn)
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 2 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 250 g Cream curd
  • 100 g frozen raspberries
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint leaves

Directions

    Wash the apples, cut out the core with an apple corer. Cut apples into slices. Caramelise 3 tablespoons of sugar in a pan. Deglaze with apple and lemon juice, add 1 packet of vanilla sugar, bring to the boil. Add apple slices and steam for about 5 minutes.

    Mix quark, 1 packet of vanillin sugar and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Fold in raspberries. Arrange apple rings with the quark in small bowls. Decorate with mint leaves. Peanut biscuits taste good with it
