Steak with pepper sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 Beef fillet steaks (approx. 150 g each)
  • 4 discs Bacon
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 200 ml Beef stock (glass)
  • 100 ml dry red wine
  • 2 TEASPOONS green pepper (glass)
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Cornstarch
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Pat the steaks dry and wrap each with 1 slice of bacon. Fry in hot oil for 3 minutes on each side, salt and pepper. Take out, wrap in foil and let rest for about 5 minutes

    Bring the meat to the boil with beef stock, red wine and green pepper, simmer for 2 minutes. Mix starch and 2 tablespoons of water, thicken sauce with it, bring to the boil again and season to taste
