Steak and Corn Pan

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 red, green and yellow peppers (approx. 200 g each)
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 pre-cooked corncobs
  • 4-5 Stem(s) Thyme
  • 2 Beef hoof steak (approx. 300 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Steak spice
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 200 g Herb curd
  • 7-10 Tbsp Thyme stems

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the peppers into pieces. Peel onions and cut into rings. Cut the corn into slices. Wash thyme, dab dry and remove leaves. Wash meat, dab dry and cut into strips.

    Season with some salt, pepper and steak spice. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan. Add the meat and fry for approx. 5 minutes while turning. After half of the time add onions and half thyme.

    Remove meat and onions from the pan and keep warm. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan. Add the bell pepper, corn and remaining thyme and fry for 4-5 minutes, turning. Season with salt, pepper and sugar.

    Mix in the meat and onions. Add the herb quark. Garnish with thyme stems if necessary. Wholemeal baguette tastes good with it.
