Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 250 g ribbon noodles
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 50 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sunflower seeds
  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 TEASPOON Herbs of Provence
  • 7-10 Tbsp some basil

Directions

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for about 8 minutes and drain

    Peel the onion. Dice onion and bacon. Roast the seeds without fat, take them out. Skip the bacon. Fry onions in it until transparent. Clean, wash and slice the tomatoes

    Pour the pasta, bacon mixture, tomatoes and seeds into a greased ovenproof dish. Whisk milk and eggs. Season strongly with salt, pepper and herbs and pour over

    Bake the casserole in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for approx. 45 minutes. Garnish with basil if desired
