Peel onion and garlic. Chop the onion finely. Press garlic through a garlic press. Coarsely chop the olives, except for a few for garnishing
Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the minced meat until crumbly. Add onion and garlic and fry. Chop the tomatoes, add the juice and olives. Season with salt, pepper and oregano. Bring sauce to the boil, simmer for about 15 minutes
Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water for about 10 minutes
Grate cheese. Drain spaghetti on a sieve, mix with minced sauce and serve. Sprinkle with cheese and garnish with oregano
Drink: dry red wine, for example Valpolicella or Chianti
