Spaghetti with seafood (Frutti di Mare)

Ingredients

  • 2 packs (200 g each) Frozen Frutti di Mare
  • 250 g frozen party shrimps (cooked, peeled, with tail)
  • 6–8 large, fresh organic tomatoes
  • 1 Tuber young, fresh garlic
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sea salt
  • 1 small bunch of parsley and basil
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS light or dark balsamic vinegar
  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar

Directions

    Defrost seafood and shrimps in a sieve. Wash and clean the tomatoes and cut them into small pieces. Remove garlic cloves from the tuber, peel and cut into pieces. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Fry the garlic for 2-3 minutes.

    Dab seafood and shrimps dry, add and fry for about 3 minutes, turning. Remove everything from the pan. Heat the frying pan again. Add the tomatoes, season with a little salt and reduce for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Wash the parsley and basil, remove leaves except for some basil for garnishing, pluck from the stalks and chop finely. Add vinegar, 2 tablespoons of oil and chopped herbs to the tomatoes, simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Finally, add the seafood and prawns to the sauce and warm them up. Drain the pasta.

    Wash the parsley and basil, remove leaves except for some basil for garnishing, pluck from the stalks and chop finely. Add vinegar, 2 tablespoons of oil and chopped herbs to the tomatoes, simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Finally, add the seafood and prawns to the sauce and warm them up. Drain the pasta. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and sugar, arrange the pasta on plates, garnish with basil
