Souvlaki with farmer salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Cucumber
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 200 g Greek cream yoghurt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 red, green and yellow peppers
  • 200 g Tomatoes
  • 200 g Feta cheese
  • 50 g green pitted olives
  • 50 g small black olives with stone
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Wine vinegar
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 600 g Lean pork from the leg

Directions

    Wash the cucumber, cut off the ends and roughly grate half of it. Peel garlic and press it through a garlic press. Mix yoghurt, grated cucumber and garlic and season with salt and pepper. Peel the onions. Clean and wash the peppers, wash and clean the tomatoes. Cut half paprika, 1 onion, remaining cucumber and tomatoes into cubes.

    Cut feta into cubes. Mix olives, vegetables and cheese. Season with vinegar, salt and pepper and fold in 1 tablespoon of oil. Cut the remaining peppers into pieces (approx. 2.5 x 2.5 cm). Cut the remaining onion into large cubes. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into cubes. Put meat, onion and paprika alternately on skewers. Season with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wide frying pan. Fry the skewers for about 7 minutes while turning. Arrange on a plate.
