Sour almond waffles with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup

Ingredients

Servings: 10
  • 125 g Butter or margarine
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 150 g Flour
  • 1/2 package Baking Powder
  • 100 g crushed almonds
  • 125 g Schmand
  • 125 g Milk
  • 10 (70 g each) scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 125-150 ml Maple syrup
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon balm
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Whip the fat, sugar, salt and vanilla sugar until creamy with the whisk of the hand mixer. Stir in the eggs one after the other. Mix flour, baking powder and almonds. Alternately stir in sour cream and milk.

    Place 1 1/2 tablespoons of dough in the middle of each greased preheated waffle iron and bake until golden brown. Bake about 10 waffles one after the other. Serve the waffles with vanilla ice cream and sprinkle with maple syrup.

    Decorate with lemon balm.
