Sis Kebab (spicy meat skewers)

Ingredients

  • 600 g Rump or hoof steak
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 4 medium-sized onions
  • 1 Pepperoni
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1 TEASPOON Sweet peppers
  • 3 Stem(s) flat leaf parsley
  • 2 (150 g each) Cup of skimmed milk yoghurt
  • 7-10 Tbsp crushed coriander
  • 1 large red, yellow and green peppers
  • 7-10 Tbsp fresh herbs, garlic onion slices and lemon to garnish

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into cubes. For the marinade, peel the garlic and press it through the garlic press. Peel and grate one onion. Chop the pepperoni finely. Grate garlic, onion and pepperoni with 1 teaspoon of salt.

    Mix with 5 tablespoons of olive oil and paprika powder. Mix the marinade and meat thoroughly and leave in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. In the meantime, peel and grate another onion for the sauce. Wash the parsley and chop the leaves. Mix yoghurt, coriander, parsley, remaining olive oil and grated onion, let stand. Peel and halve the remaining onions. Clean and wash the peppers, cut them into slightly larger pieces. Put meat and vegetables separately on skewers. Brown under the preheated grill for about 10 minutes.
