Shredded meat à la Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 150 g Fillet of beef
  • 50 g Mushrooms
  • 50 g Shallots
  • 1 Gherkin
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 3 frozen Rösti-Taler
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp colourful pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Fresh cream
  • 1 TEASPOON medium hot mustard
  • 1/2 bunch Chives

Directions

    Cut the meat into strips. Clean, wash and slice the mushrooms. Peel the shallots. Cut gherkin into slices. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and fry the Rösti Taler in it for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

    Heat the rest of the oil in a pan and fry the meat briefly. Season with salt and pepper and remove. Sauté shallots and mushrooms in the frying fat, stir in crème fraîche and mustard.

    Leave to boil thoroughly. Add meat again and season again. Wash the chives, cut them into fine rolls and sprinkle over the meat. Arrange Rösti-Taler and shredded meat on plates. Beetroot tastes good with it.
