Schnitzel toast with paprika

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 baby onion
  • 7-10 Tbsp or 2 onions
  • 1 big pepper
  • several sheets Lettuce
  • 4 small turkey escalopes (approx. 100 g each)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, coarse pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 4 discs Wholemeal toast
  • 7-10 Tbsp lemon wedges and
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Peel onion and cut into rings. Clean and wash the bell peppers and cut them into rings. Wash and shake the lettuce leaves dry. Wash and dry the cutlets

    Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the escalopes for 3-4 minutes on each side. Season with salt, pepper and sweet paprika. Remove and keep warm if necessary

    Fry onion in frying fat until golden brown. Toast the bread. Cover with salad, paprika, schnitzel and onion. Sprinkle with pepper. Garnish with lemon and parsley

    The Schnitzel-Toasts are also a delicious guest snack. You can prepare meat and vegetables. To prevent the bread from soaking through, place the toast just before serving: For a vegetarian variation: fry tofu schnitzel or vegetable burger (refrigerated shelf, e.g. from Tivall)
