Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 2 Onions
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 pck. (500 g each) strained tomatoes
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 1 can(s) (8 discs, 446 ml) Pineapple
  • 4 disc/s (each approx. 25 g) cooked ham
  • 8 Pork cutlet (approx. 175 g each)
  • 100 g Gouda (play)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

  1. 1

For the pizza sauce, peel and finely dice the onions. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan. Fry the onions in it until transparent. Deglaze with tomatoes, 1⁄4 l water and cream. Season with salt, pepper, 1 pinch of sugar and paprika. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

For the cutlets, drain the pineapple and allow to drain. Halve the ham slices. Wash the meat and dab dry. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Brown the meat in it in portions on each side for about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the escalopes and place them next to each other on a fat pan.

  3. 3

Cover schnitzel with ham and pineapple. Pour the sauce evenly over it. Place aluminium foil on top and press firmly around the tray. Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 2 1⁄4 hours.

  4. 4

Grate cheese. Remove foil carefully about 45 minutes before the end of the baking time. Spread the cheese on the pineapple and finish baking.
