Sauerkraut with fried egg

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 discs farmhouse bread
  • 1 TABLESPOON Mustard
  • 2 Onions
  • 400 g Pork sausage
  • 40 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 can(s) (580 ml) Sauerkraut
  • 10 Juniper berries
  • 4 Eggs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Spread bread with mustard. Peel and chop the onions. Cut the sausage into slices. Heat 20 g fat in a pot. Add diced onions, sauerkraut and juniper berries and steam for 5-10 minutes.

    Heat the remaining fat in a pan and fry the sausage slices in it for about 1 minute on each side, remove. Then beat the eggs and fry them until they become fried eggs, season with salt. Spread the sauerkraut on the breads. Place slices of sausage on top and cover with the fried eggs. Serve with parsley
