Sashimi tuna with avocado

Ingredients

Servings: 10
  • 500 g Tuna in the piece (Sashimi quality)
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Black ground pepper
  • 25 g Sesame seed
  • 1 collar Chives
  • 1 walnut-sized piece of fresh ginger
  • 2 heaped Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 1 TABLESPOON Orange juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few drops of sesame oil
  • 1 TEASPOON Wasabi (Japanese horseradish; Asia shop)

Directions

    Wash the tuna, dab dry and cut into small cubes (approx. 7 mm). Halve avocados, remove seeds. Remove the flesh from the skin and also dice. Season fish and avocado with salt and pepper.

    Lightly roast sesame seeds in a pan without fat. Wash the chives and cut into small rolls. Peel and finely grate the ginger. Mix mayonnaise, soy sauce, orange juice, sesame oil and wasabi with a whisk, stir in ginger.

    Carefully fold the fish, avocado, sesame and chives into the dressing.
