Sangria Style Gobble

Ingredients

Servings: 16
  • 200 g Strawberries
  • 200 g Cherries (glass)
  • 1 Peach
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle of dry red wine
  • 200 ml Orange juice
  • 2–3 Orange slices
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 16 Small moulds (each approx. 10 x 5 cm)

Directions

    Wash, clean and halve the strawberries. Drain the cherries in a sieve. Wash, halve, stone and dice the peach.

    Put the bottle of dry red wine, strawberries, cherries, peach cubes, orange juice, orange slices and cinnamon stick into a large pot. Heat everything at low temperature. But do not bring to boil, otherwise the alcohol will evaporate.

    As soon as it is warm, stir in the sugar, dissolve while stirring and remove the pot from the heat. Let the Sangria mix stand for about 30 minutes.

    Then remove orange slices and cinnamon stick. Puree everything with a hand blender and let it cool down. Pour the sangria mixture into about 16 moulds. Let the Popsicles freeze for about 1 hour. Then press one wooden stick in half and place in the freezer for another 17 hours.

    Those who are bored can destroy a few bottles of wine in a comfortable round.

    The next day, dip the ice cream cups in a hot water bath for 5-10 seconds, drain them on a tea towel and carefully pull the ice cream out of the cups. Treat yourself.
