Roasted gnocchi and asparagus with butter and sage

  • 1.5 kg green asparagus
  • 1 Onion
  • 3-4 Stem(s) Sage
  • 800 g Gnocchi (from the refrigerator)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sesame seed
  • 60 g Butter
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil

Directions

    Wash the asparagus, cut off the woody ends. Cut the asparagus into pieces. Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash the sage and, except for something to garnish, pluck it from the stems. Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water for about 1 minute, drain and drain. Roast sesame seeds in a pot. Add butter and brown in it.

    Add sage leaves. Heat oil in a pan and fry asparagus for about 3 minutes. Add onion and gnocchi and fry for another 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange asparagus and gnocchi on plates, add some sage-sesame butter. Serve the rest extra. Garnish with sage leaves
