Roasted chard with sesame

Ingredients

  • 100 g Basmati rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt and pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 piece(s) (approx. 20 g) Ginger
  • 600 g Swiss chard
  • 80 g jambon cuit maigre en tranches
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sesame
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce

Directions

    Cook the rice in a good 200 ml of boiling salted water according to the package instructions.

    Meanwhile peel onion, garlic and ginger. Dice onion, chop garlic and ginger finely. Clean and wash the chard. Cut the stalks off the leaves and cut both into wide strips.

    Cut the ham into strips as well.

    Roast sesame seeds in a large pan without fat, remove. Heat the oil in the pan. Drain rice if necessary. Stir in the hot oil.

    Fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the onion, garlic, ginger and chard stalks and continue to fry for 3-4 minutes. Fold in chard leaves and ham, continue frying for 2-3 minutes.

    Stir in soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of water. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
