Riesling Jelly

Ingredients

Servings: 3
  • 7-10 Tbsp about 250 ml each:
  • 1 (25 g) Bag of gelling agent "Gelfix Extra" (2:1)
  • 400 g Sugar
  • 750 ml dry white wine (e.g. Riesling)

Directions

    Mix gelling agent and sugar well in a large pot. Add wine and bring to the boil while stirring over high heat. Let everything boil for at least 3 minutes while stirring constantly

    Fill jelly still hot into prepared twist-off glasses. Immediately close tightly, turn over and allow to cool standing on the lid

    Tip: reduced sugar jam

    (fruit to sugar 2:1 and 3:1) spoils faster after opening. Therefore it is best to fill only into small glasses, which are consumed faster. Always keep the opened jam in the refrigerator
