Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 5 large quinces
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1 l Grain

Directions

  1. 1

Wash, peel and finely grate the quinces around the core. Leave to stand for approx. 12 hours until the juice has formed. Line a large sieve with a passing cloth, add the quinces and collect the juice. Leave to stand for about 1 hour.

  2. 2

Squeeze the quince vigorously with the cloth. Bring 250 ml of water, sugar and quince juice to the boil in a pot, remove from the heat and leave to cool overnight.
