<p>The favorite fruit of the Germans is quite clearly the <a href="https://www.lecker.de/rezepte/aepfel">Apple</a>! That's why the apple pie is of course a true <a href="/5-classic-from-the-German-kitchen-that-you-should-know-69030.html">classic </a>and must not be missing on any coffee table. For our quick apple pie you do not need much time. We fold apple pieces into the sponge mixture, which make the cake nice and juicy. As a topping, icing sugar tastes good. Who likes, can of course also <a href="https://www.lecker.de/altlaender-apfelkuchen-15313.html">apple pie with crumbles</a> zubereiten.&nbsp;</p>

Ingredients

Servings: 20
  • 500 g Apples
  • 375 g Flour
  • 1/2 package Baking Powder
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 250 g Butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 50 g Whipped cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour

Directions

    Peel, quarter and core the apples. Halve the quarter again and cut into slices. Mix flour, baking powder and cinnamon.

    Cream butter, salt and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer. Stir in the eggs one by one. Stir in flour mixture and cream. Fold in apple pieces.

    Pour the dough into a greased and flour-spread baking tin (approx. 21 x 31 cm). Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 25 minutes (stick test).

    Take out, let it cool down. Dust with icing sugar and serve hot or cold.
