Puff pastry sticks with poppy and sesame

Ingredients

Servings: 25
  • 2 rectangular slices (75 g each) of deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 1 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 2 TEASPOONS Poppy seed
  • 1 TEASPOON coarse sea salt
  • 2 TEASPOONS hulled sesame seeds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

    Defrost the slices of dough side by side on a floured work surface. Place slices on top of each other and roll out thinly. Mix the egg yolk and 1 tbsp. water, brush the dough with it, sprinkle with poppy, salt and sesame seeds and cut lengthwise into strips about 1 cm wide

    Twist each strip and place them side by side on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Take out and let cool down
