Prawns in dough shell

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 10 discs (approx. 100 g) triangular, Turkish dough (yufka; made from flour and water)
  • 20 (approx. 400 g) ready-to-cook shrimp tails
  • 2 packages (25 g each) frozen Italian herbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 150 g Delicious mayonnaise
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of lime juice
  • 100 ml oil for frying
  • 7-10 Tbsp slices of lime, dill and dill umbel flowers

Directions

    Place the slices of dough next to each other on the work surface and repeatedly brush with cold water. Rinse shrimps cold and dab dry. Cut the puff pastry in half lengthwise from the tip.

    Sprinkle with the herbs. Place one shrimp tail on each, season with salt and pepper and roll up. Peel the garlic, press through the garlic press and add to the mayonnaise. Season to taste with lime juice, salt and pepper.

    Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the shrimps in puff pastry for 3-5 minutes. Drain on kitchen paper. Arrange on a plate with slices of lime, dill and flowers as desired. Add mayonnaise.
