Potato sausage pan with sauerkraut

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 800 g Potatoes
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 can(s) (580 ml) Sauerkraut
  • 1 red pepper
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 200 g fine pork/beef sausage
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 Stalk parsley

Directions

    Peel, wash and slice the potatoes. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Fry the potatoes in it at medium heat for about 20 minutes. Turn from time to time. Peel and finely chop the onion.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan. Add sauerkraut and onion and braise for about 20 minutes. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into pieces. Add to the sauerkraut after 10 minutes. Pour in broth.

    Cut the sausage into strips. Add sausage to the potatoes 5 minutes before the end of cooking time. Add sauerkraut to the potatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Wash the parsley, except for a little to garnish, chop coarsely and sprinkle over the potatoes.
