Ingredients

  • 800 g waxy potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 400 g Bockwürste
  • 2 Onions
  • 50 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 125 g Gherkins
  • 6 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 1/4 l clear broth (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 collar Dill
  • 1 Eßl medium hot mustard
  • 2 TABLESPOONS liquid honey

Directions

    Wash the potatoes and cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. Then rinse with cold water and remove the skin. In the meantime, cut the sausages into slices. Peel and finely dice onions. Dice bacon and gherkins as well.

    Cut potatoes into slices. Leave the bacon crispy and add to the potatoes. Boil up vinegar in the bacon fat. Add stock. Add onion cubes and let them get glassy. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over the potatoes while still hot. Fold in sausages and gherkins. Cover and let it simmer for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile wash the dill, dab dry and chop.
