Peel and wash the potatoes and cut or slice them into thin slices. Layer potato slices in flakes in a greased gratin dish (bottom 18 cm Ø, top 24 cm Ø; 1 litre capacity)
Season cream (or 100 g cream and 100 ml milk) with salt and pepper and pour over the potatoes. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 45 minutes
