Pork steak with fiery puzta sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 red, green and yellow peppers (approx. 150 g each)
  • 1 (100 g) big onion
  • 1 red chilli pepper
  • 150 g Long grain rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 4 Pork loin steaks (about 150 g each)
  • 1 tablespoon (10 g) Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 2 tablespoons (15 g each) Aiwar (spicy-hot spice paste)
  • 1 tsp (5 g) Instant vegetable stock
  • 1 TEASPOON frozen herb mix
  • 7-10 Tbsp Marjoram

Directions

    Clean, wash and chop the peppers. Peel onion, chop roughly. Halve the chilli, scrape out the seeds. Wash and finely chop the pod. Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions.

    Wash the meat, dab dry. Heat oil, fry steaks on each side for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Take out and keep warm. Sauté onion in hot frying fat.

    Add the paprika and fry for about 2 minutes. Add aiwar and deglaze with 250 ml water. Bring to the boil, stir in broth, simmer for 8-10 minutes at low heat. Drain rice, drain and mix in herbs.

    Season the paprika sauce with salt and pepper. Arrange meat, rice and sauce on plates. Serve garnished with marjoram.
