  • 3 TABLESPOONS Honey
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Tomato paste
  • 1 TABLESPOON White wine vinegar
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON dried basil
  • 1-2 Splash Worcester sauce
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 4 Pork neck steaks (approx. 150 g each)
  • 500 g frozen French fries for the oven
  • 2 Federation spring onions (approx. 150 g each)
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml; 285 g) Vegetable corn
  • 30 g Herb Butter
  • baking paper

Directions

    Mix honey, tomato paste, vinegar, 1 tablespoon of oil, basil and Worcester sauce. Peel garlic, cut into fine slices and add to the marinade. Season with paprika, salt and pepper. Wash the meat, dab dry and brush all around with the marinade. Leave to marinate for about 15 minutes.

    Place the French fries on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. In the meantime, clean and wash the spring onions and cut them into longish pieces. Drain the corn. Heat herb butter in a pot and fry the spring onions for 2-3 minutes. Add the corn and braise for another 5 minutes at low heat. Season with salt and pepper. In the meantime remove steaks from the marinade. Heat the remaining oil and fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper.
