Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 75 ml Worcester sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of Tabasco
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 4 Pork chops (approx. 275 g each)
  • 1 piece(s) (approx. 10 g) Ginger
  • 175 g Blackberries
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Tomato ketchup
  • 4 TABLESPOONS liquid honey
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper

Directions

  1. 1

For the marinade, mix Worcester sauce and Tabasco. Fold in the oil. Wash the meat and dab dry. Place the meat side by side in a flat casserole dish. Spread the marinade evenly over the meat.

  2. 2

Cover and put in a cool place for 1-2 hours. Turn the chops once in between.

  3. 3

For the sauce, peel and finely grate the ginger. Sort the blackberries, wash them carefully if necessary and let them drain well in a sieve. Puree blackberries, ginger, ketchup and honey in a tall mixing bowl with a hand blender.

  4. 4

Season vigorously with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

Let the meat drip off a little and grill it on the hot grill for about 5 minutes on each side. Then brush each side with some blackberry sauce and grill again for about 1 minute on each side. Add the rest of the sauce.

  6. 6

BBQ salad tastes good with it.
