Ingredients

Servings: 24
  • 500 g Flour
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 7 Eggs (size M)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 g soft butter or margarine
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 1 cubes (42 g) fresh yeast
  • 1.5 kg Plums
  • 1 kg Cream curd
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 package Pudding powder "Vanilla flavour" (for cooking)
  • 75 g demerara sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

  1. 1

Put flour, 100 g sugar, 1 egg, salt and fat in a bowl. Warm the milk lukewarm. Crumble yeast into it, stir until smooth and add to the flour mixture. Mix to a smooth dough with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes

  2. 2

Wash the plums, drain and stone them. Stir quark with 250 g sugar, vanillin sugar, pudding powder and 6 eggs until smooth. Knead dough once again. Grease a high fat pan of the oven (32 x 39 cm). Press the dough to a base with your hands, while pulling up the edges

  3. 3

Add the curd mixture and spread. Spread plums close together. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 40-45 minutes. After about 30 minutes, sprinkle the cake with brown sugar and bake until done. Let it cool down on a cake rack. Whipped cream tastes good with it
