Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 500 g Flour
  • 20 g Yeast
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 80-100 g Butter
  • 50-80 g Sugar
  • 1-2 Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated lemon peel
  • 1,5 Kilo pitted and cut plums
  • 150 g Breadcrumbs
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 7-10 Tbsp ground cloves
  • 7-10 Tbsp Rum
  • 7-10 Tbsp Almond slivers
  • 7-10 Tbsp some flakes of butter

Directions

  1. 1

Make a yeast dough from the ingredients. Let it rise for about 1 hour in a warm place. In the meantime the plums are washed, pitted and halved. The baking tray is greased and sprinkled with some breadcrumbs.

  2. 2

The finished yeast dough is rolled out and placed on the baking tray. The breadcrumbs, sugar and cinnamon are mixed in a small bowl. Half of this mixture is spread on the yeast dough.

  3. 3

Now the plums are placed on top in several rows, staggered.

  4. 4

Crumbles are now produced from the remaining breadcrumb-sugar mixture. Add some ground cloves and rum to this mixture and mix slowly with your hands.

  5. 5

Now spread the crumbles and almond slivers evenly on the plums. Now put some butter flakes on the finished cake before baking. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 190 degrees, top and bottom heat for about 45 minutes.
