Ingredients

  • 2.3 kg Plums
  • 600 g demerara sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 100 ml Rum

Directions

    Wash and stone the plums and cut them into 2 kg pieces. Mix sugar, cinnamon stick, rum and plums in a large pot and bring to the boil. Let it boil for about 20 minutes while stirring constantly. Remove the cinnamon stick. Immediately fill the mush to the brim into prepared glasses and close them. Place on the lid for about 5 minutes. Store plum puree in a cool and dark place
