Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 500 g floury potatoes

  • 275 g Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 250 g Milk
  • 1 package Dessert sauce powder "Vanilla flavour
  • 75 g Butter
  • 50 g Breadcrumbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint and icing sugar

Directions

  1. 1

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, boil them in water, cover and cook for about 25 minutes. In the meantime wash plums, pit them. Drain the potatoes, rinse, peel and immediately press them through a potato press into a mixing bowl.

Add the eggs, sift the flour on top. Add salt. Knead well with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. With well floured hands (sticks a little bit) form 12 flat cakes, put one plum in each and form dough into a dumpling.

  3. 3

Bring water to the boil in a large pot, simmer dumplings in it over a low heat for 18-20 minutes in two portions (until they float to the top). Lift them out and let them drain well. In the meantime, put milk and sauce powder into a high mixing bowl, mix with the whisk of the hand mixer at low speed, then beat at highest speed for about 1 minute.

  4. 4

Drain butter in a large pan, add breadcrumbs and brown lightly over medium heat. Turn the dumplings in it. Serve the sauce and 3 dumplings each decorated with mint and powdered sugar on plates.

  5. 5

Add the rest of the sauce separately.
