Wash, halve and stone the plums. Place the plums upright close together in a greased casserole dish (approx. 750 ml capacity). Whisk the eggs and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until white and creamy. Mix flour, starch and baking powder and stir alternately with cream and oil into the egg cream.
Spread the dough over the fruit. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 45-60 minutes. After 30 minutes cover with foil if necessary. Dust with icing sugar
