Piquant braised cucumbers with beef strips

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1.2 kg Gherkins
  • 2 Chillies
  • 50 g dried tomatoes
  • 1/2 bunch Coriander
  • 400 g Beef hip steak
  • 400 g Tagliatelle Noodles
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sesame seed

Directions

    Peel the cucumbers, cut them in half lengthwise, remove the seeds and cut into strips. Wash the chilli and cut into rings. Cut tomatoes into strips. Wash coriander, shake dry, pluck leaves from stems and cut into strips. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into strips.

    Prepare pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Heat the oil and fry the meat for about 4 minutes while turning it. Add tomatoes, chilli, sesame and cucumber and continue to braise for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt. Drain the noodles in a sieve, pour back into the pot, fold in the meat pan and arrange on plates
