Pear casserole with vanilla sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/8 l + 1/2 l milk
  • 1/2 cube (21 g) fresh yeast
  • 250 g flour, 1 pinch of salt
  • 7 slightly heaped tablespoons of sugar
  • 3 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 4 Pears (about 150 g each)
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp a little + 1-2 tablespoons butter
  • 3-4 Tbsp flaked almonds
  • 7-10 Tbsp 1 P. Dessert sauce "Vanilla" (for cooking; for 1/2 l milk)

Directions

    Heat 1/8 l milk slightly. Crumble yeast and dissolve in it. Put flour, salt, 2 tablespoons sugar and eggs in a bowl. Add lukewarm yeast milk and knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour

    Peel, halve and core the pears. Round the pears several times slightly in, but do not cut through. Sprinkle with lemon juice

    Grease a casserole dish. Knead the dough again and put it into the baking dish. Place pears on top and press them lightly into the dough. Leave to rise for another 15 minutes.

    Mix almonds and 3 tablespoons of sugar and sprinkle over the top. Spread 1-2 tablespoons butter in flakes on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. If necessary, cover after approx. 30 minutes

    Take 5 tablespoons of 1/2 l milk and stir with sauce powder until smooth. Boil up the remaining milk with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Stir in the sauce powder and simmer for about 1 minute. Serve casserole with hot or cold vanilla sauce
