Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 300 g dried green peas
  • 500 g detached pork chop
  • 1 collar Soup Greens
  • 375 g Potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 4 Cooked sausages
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1/2 bunch flat leaf parsley

Directions

    Wash the peas and soak them in 1 1/2 litres of cold water (preferably overnight). Wash the meat and boil it up with the peas and soaking water. Cook for 1 hour. Clean and wash the soup greens and cut them into small pieces.

    Peel, wash and chop the potatoes. Add soup vegetables, potatoes and sausage to the peas 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Remove meat and sausage and cut into slices. Season pea stew with salt and pepper.

    Wash the parsley and cut into fine strips, except for a few leaves for garnishing. Serve stew with meat and sausage. Serve sprinkled with parsley and garnished.
