Pea soup with Kasseler

Ingredients

  • 750 Kasselerkotelett with bone
  • 300 g peeled, dried green peas
  • 1 collar Soup Greens
  • 400 g Potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3 Stem(s) flat leaf parsley

Directions

    Boil the cured pork in 1 litre of water and add the peas. Cover and cook for about 45 minutes. Clean, wash and chop the soup vegetables. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Add the vegetables and potatoes to the peas about 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time and cook with them.

    Remove the cured pork from the stew. Remove meat from the bone and cut into cubes. Add meat to the soup, season everything with salt and pepper. Cut parsley into strips and sprinkle over the stew.
