Papaya salsa with prawns

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 450 g ready-to-cook large shrimps (frozen or fresh)
  • 2 ripe papayas (about 350 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 1/2 limes
  • 1 TABLESPOON sugar (e.g. browner)
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 red chilli pepper
  • 2 small peppers (green, yellow or red)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 2 Federation Spring onions
  • 2 TABLESPOONS oil, 1 garlic clove

Directions

    Possibly defrost the shrimps. Peel, halve and core the papayas. Cut 1 papaya into slices, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon lime juice. Dice other papayas, mix with the rest of the lime juice, sugar and ketchup. Remove seeds from chilli and paprika, wash and dice finely. Add to the papaya cubes, salt

    Clean and wash the spring onions. Fry them in 1 tbsp. hot oil all around for about 5 minutes. Take out, keep warm

    Wash the shrimps and pat them dry. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the frying fat. Fry the prawns in it for 3-4 minutes. Peel the garlic, add it and fry it briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Serve the prawns with spring onions, papaya slices and salsa
