Pancakes with Calvados

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 150 g Flour
  • 1 package Sauce powder "Vanilla flavor
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 medium-sized apples (e.g. Elstar or Ingrid Marie)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Calvados
  • 1 TEASPOON Sugar
  • 75 g Fresh cream
  • 2 TABLESPOONS toasted almonds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar

Directions

    Mix flour, sauce powder, eggs, milk and salt to a smooth dough. Leave to swell for 30 minutes. Peel the apples and prick out the core. Cut apples into thin slices. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan.

    Put 1/4 of the apple slices in the pan, add 1/4 of the dough. Bake at medium heat from both sides until golden brown. Keep pancakes warm. Bake the rest of the dough in the same way. Heat up the calvados, add sugar and pour over the pancakes.

    Put 1 blob of crème fraiche on each pancake. Sprinkle almonds and icing sugar over them. Serve decorated with mint.
