Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 piece(s) (approx. 2 cm) Ginger
  • 1 red chilli pepper
  • 250 g Organic tofu
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1⁄4 Tsp ground cloves
  • 1 TEASPOON ground cumin
  • 1 TEASPOON ground cilantro
  • 1 TEASPOON Turmeric
  • 500 g Frozen leaf spinach
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 TEASPOON Garam Masala

Directions

    Peel onions, garlic and ginger. Finely dice onions and garlic, grate ginger. Cut the chillies lengthwise, remove seeds, wash and cut into thin rings. Cut tofu into cubes.

    Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the tofu for 2-3 minutes on each side, remove. Fry onions, garlic, ginger, chilli, cloves, cumin, coriander and turmeric in hot frying fat while stirring until it smells of the spices.

    Add frozen spinach and 100 ml water and stir in. Cover and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt. Add the tofu to the spinach and heat up briefly. Stir in the Garam Masala.

    Dresser. Mango lassi, chapati (thin Indian flat bread) or basmati rice are delicious with it.
