Melt 50 g butter, let it cool down a little. Beat the eggs, sugar and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer until thick and creamy. Mix flour and baking powder, alternately stir in with the milk.
Fold in melted butter last. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in an ovenproof pan (approx. 28 cm Ø). Add half of the dough. In a preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: see
manufacturer) bake for about 12 minutes.
Mix the quark and vanillin sugar. Remove pancakes from the pan. Melt 1 tbsp. butter in the hot pan. Add the rest of the dough and bake in the same way. Serve pancakes with quark and jam.
Dust with icing sugar.
