Ingredients

  • 1 large vegetable onion (approx. 450 g)
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 ml Red wine
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Balsamic Vinegar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar

Directions

    Peel and chop the onion. Melt the fat in a pot and fry the onion cubes in it. Deglaze with red wine and vinegar. Add sugar and let it boil down at medium heat for about 15 minutes.
