Nut crumble with cold vanilla sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 glass (370 ml; Abtr.gew.: 110 g) Preiselbeeren
  • 150 g Nut kernel mixture
  • 100 g demerara sugar
  • 100 ml clear apple juice
  • 100 g Flour
  • 75 g Butter

Directions

    Drain the cranberries well. Roast nuts in a pan without fat. Sprinkle 50 g sugar over them, let them caramelise slightly. Pour in apple juice and let it simmer a little. Mix in cranberries.

    Spread the mixture into 4 flat moulds. For the crumbles, mix the flour, 50 g sugar and butter in flakes, first with the dough hooks of the hand mixer, then with your hands to make crumbles. Spread over the nut mixture. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 15-20 minutes. Cold vanilla sauce tastes good with it
