Noodles with barbecue mince sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 discs Bacon
  • 300 g Noodles (e.g. penne)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 400 g mixed mince
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) Cream of tomato soup
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Barbecue sauce (bottle)
  • 75-100 g Edam cheese or Gouda cheese
  • 50 g Arugula (rocket)

Directions

    Peel and finely chop the onion. Cut bacon into large pieces. Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water for 10-12 minutes

    Heat the oil in a large pan (with lid). Fry the bacon in it until crispy, take it out. Fry the minced meat in the bacon fat until crumbly, season. Fry the onion briefly. Add tomato soup, bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with barbecue sauce, salt and pepper if necessary

    Drain the noodles and stir into the minced sauce. Grate cheese over it. Cover and cook for 3-5 minutes until the cheese has melted. Clean, wash and shake dry the arugula. Sprinkle bacon and arugula over it
