Ingredients

Servings: 45
  • 75 g Butter
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Almond liqueur
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 275 g Flour
  • 1/2 package Baking Powder
  • 25 g ground almonds (without skin)
  • 3-4 Tbsp Milk
  • 1,5 l Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp pink sugar, icing sugar and pink icing

Directions

  1. 1

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, liqueur, egg and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl and add the almonds. Press a depression in the middle, add fat-sugar mixture and milk and knead to a smooth dough with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Heat the oil in a tall wide pot. Roll out the dough on a well floured work surface to a thickness of 3-4 mm. Cut out various motifs (e.g. piglets or cloverleaves) with cookie cutters.

  2. 2

Slide approx. 6 cap motifs into the hot oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Carefully lift them out of the oil with a skimmer and let them drip off on kitchen paper. Do the same with the rest of the dough. Sprinkle the hats with pink sugar as desired and dust with icing sugar. Spray the pigs with pink icing and sprinkle them with small curly tails as desired.
