Muffins with pears and chocolate toffee

Ingredients

Servings: 12
  • 2 packs (à 52 g) Pralines with fine toffee filling in milk chocolate (e.g. Rolo®)
  • 250 g Pears
  • 4-5 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 125 g Butter
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 75 ml Milk
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar
  • 24 Coloured paper cuffs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chocolates and pear wedges

Directions

    Remove the chocolates from the roll and cut them in half. Peel and halve the pears and cut out the core. Cut the pears into cubes. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer.

    Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix flour and baking powder. Alternately add the milk and stir in. Drain the pears and pat them slightly dry. Fold pears and pralines into the dough. Place two paper sleeves in each trough of a muffin tin. Spread the dough evenly into the muffin moulds. Bake in the preheated oven (electric: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven and carefully remove from the edge of the trough with a knife. Leave to cool on a rack.

    Place two paper sleeves in each trough of a muffin tin. Spread the dough evenly into the muffin moulds. Bake in the preheated oven (electric: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven and carefully remove from the edge of the trough with a knife. Leave to cool on a rack. Then carefully lift out of the wells and dust with icing sugar. Serve decorated with pralines and pear wedges as desired
