Mozzarella sticks with tomato crostini

Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 1 onion, 1 garlic clove
  • 3-4 Stem(s) Basil
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 200 g Ciabatta (ital.
  • 7-10 Tbsp white bread) or baguette
  • 4-6 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 package (400 g) Mozzarella cheese in a block
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 3 go. Tbsp. flour
  • 5-6 go. tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salad

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 225 °C (circulating air: 200 °C/gas: level: 4). Wash, quarter, core and remove seeds from the tomatoes

    dice. Peel onion and garlic, chop finely

    Wash the basil, chop finely. Mix the prepared ingredients, season. Cut bread into 8 slices and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of oil. Roast in hot oven for 6-8 minutes. Take out

    Drain the mozzarella and cut into 8 slices. Cut them in half lengthwise. Whisk egg, season. Turn the sticks first in the flour, then in the egg, finally in the breadcrumbs, press well

    Fry the sticks in 2-4 tablespoons of hot oil over high heat for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Spread the tomato mixture on the bread. Arrange everything on salad if necessary
