Mini apple strudel

Ingredients

  • 2 discs (à 60 g) deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 2 Apples (about 150 g each)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Raisins
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 l Milk
  • 1 package Sauce powder "Vanilla flavor
  • 2 TABLESPOONS condensed milk
  • 2 TABLESPOONS ground walnuts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Apple slices and lemon balm
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour

Directions

    Defrost the puff pastry slices laid side by side. In the meantime, wash and quarter the apples and cut out the core. Cut the apple quarters into thin pieces. Heat lemon juice.

    Steam apple pieces and raisins for about 3 minutes. Season with 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon and let it cool down a bit. Stir 3 tablespoons of milk, remaining sugar and sauce powder until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to the boil, remove from the heat and stir in the sauce powder.

    Bring to the boil again. Place the puff pastry slices on top of each other and roll out into a square (30x30 cm) on a floured work surface. Place on a kitchen towel. Spread the apple mixture on one half.

    Use the kitchen towel to form a firm roll. Cut into 4 pieces. Brush with condensed milk. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 15 minutes. Serve with vanilla sauce and sprinkle with walnuts.

    Serve garnished with apple slices and lemon balm as desired. Makes 4 pieces.
