Minced steaks with paprika

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Bread roll (from the previous day)
  • 200 g Rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 500 g gem. minced meat
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp sweet paprika, 3 tablespoons oil
  • 800 g Peppers (e.g. red and green)
  • 6-8 TABLESPOONS Tomato ketchup
  • 1-2 tabasco splash

Directions

    Soak the buns. Cover the rice in 400 ml of boiling salted water and let it swell at low heat for 18-20 minutes

    Peel the onions. Chop 1 onion finely. Knead the squeezed out roll, mince, egg and half of the onion cubes. Season with salt, pepper and sweet paprika. Form 4 flat meatballs from it

    Fry the minced steaks in 2 tablespoons of hot oil for 6-8 minutes on each side

    In the meantime clean, wash and chop the peppers. Fry the remaining onion cubes in 1 tbsp. hot oil. Add paprika and steam for 4-5 minutes. Add ketchup and simmer briefly. Add salt, pepper, sweet paprika and possibly Tabasco.

    Cut an onion into rings. Add the onion rings to the minced steaks after about 8 minutes and fry until golden brown. Arrange everything on plates
